Lewis, Stroud & Deutsch’s law practice is concentrated in the representation of governmental entities in both litigation and development law. We represent private clients in all aspects of civil litigation and represent governmental entities, as well as elected and appointed officials, in all areas of governmental liability, including the defense of civil rights claims, discrimination claims, Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) claims, and claims for negligence and other torts. We practice at the trial and appellate levels, and in state as well as federal court.
Our land use practice concentrates in areas of growth management law, including all aspects of planning, zoning, development agreements and redevelopment, with extensive experience in the drafting of land development regulations and community plans, as well as in the regulation of large scale development.
